Black Dog Ride Around Australia - NSW State Ride

NT STATE RIDE

3rd August - 5th August

The State Rides will run concurrently with the Black Dog Ride around Australia as it passes through each State.

The NT State Ride will run from 3rd August - 5th August riding 700kms. Riders can register for the full Ride as a State Rider, as a Night Rider, or simply for the day as a Day Rider.

Registration: Closed on June 30th. Riders may register in person on the first day of their State Ride at ride check-in. No registrations will be accepted during the ride for safety, catering and logistical reasons.

ITINERARY

Darwin to Darwin via Jabiru. Distance approx 700kms

NT State Riders will gather in Darwin on Sunday the 3rd August, meeting up with Around Australia Riders for 2 nights in Jabiru before continuing on their ride of nearly 700kms over 3 days.


Sunday 3 August - 254 kms

12:30 Bikes gather at Cyclone Motorcycles.

1:30 Ride departs for Jabiru 254kms.

5:00 Arrive Jabiru.

Accomodation: Lakeview Park Kakadu


Monday 4 August - Rest Day

Optional local ride to tourist locations

Accommodation: Lakeview Park Kakadu


Tuesday 5 August - 437 kms

7:30 Jabiru to Pine Creek 213 kms

9:30 Refuel & refreshment Pine Creek 226 kms

10:00 Pine Creek to Darwin

  • Each stop on the Itinerary is deemed a fuel stop. Please check the range of your bike against a map to determine any additional stops you may require.
  • It is your responsibility to book accommodation or camp sites and please quote BDR when booking to ensure you receive applicable discounts.
  • All meals are at your cost and if you are a registered rider it is presumed (for catering purposes) that you will be attending the organised meals as listed above.
