VIC STATE RIDE
22nd August - 30th August
The State Rides will run concurrently with the Black Dog Ride around Australia as it passes through each State.
The VIC State Ride will run from 22nd August - 30th August riding over 2,200kms. Riders can register for the full Ride as a State Rider, up to 3 nights as a Night Rider, or simply for the day as a Day Rider.

Registration: Closed on June 30th. Riders may register in person on the first day of their State Ride at ride check-in. No registrations will be accepted during the ride for safety, catering and logistical reasons.

Warrnambool to Mildura. Approximate distance 2,200+ kms
Victorian State Ride participants will gather in Warrnambool on Friday the 22nd August in preparation to meet the Around Australia Riders the following morning.
Total approximate distance is 2,200 kms. We will be arranging some interesting diversionary routes, so the actual total distance is unknown at this stage.
Friday 22nd August
Accommodation has been organised at Figtree Caravan Park in Warrnambool which is right in the centre of town.

11:00am Warrnambool to Apollo Bay (via Great Ocean Road) 161 kms
1:00pm Refuel & lunch Apollo Bay (Lions)
2:30pm Apollo Bay to Torquay (via G.O.R) 91 kms

10:00am Depart Sale and travel via the South Gippsland Hwy to Yarram, Foster, Leongatha, Korumburra to Pakenham for lunch.
Travel via Cockatoo, Woori Yallock to Healesville.

Ride to Thornton, Eildon and take Skyline Rd to Alexandra and then onto Yea
12.00pm Lunch at Yea
Take the Flowerdale Road then onto Broadford and Seymour. Keep going out to Puckapunyal and Tooborac and across to Graytown and Nagambie then back to Seymour.

After breakfast the organised part of BDR is finished. You are free to stay on in Mildura, tour the region, head home or continue travelling.
