Black Dog Ride is excited to announce that Indian Motorcycle, a division of Polaris Industries Australia, has chosen Black Dog Ride to be its charity partner for their upcoming Ride Back to Alice which features Aussie rock legend Ian Moss.

Ian wants to fulfil a long held ambition to ride back to his home town of Alice Springs, and will use the pilgrimage to launch an all-new album titled "Nashville Sessions" whilst in the process raise awareness and funds for Black Dog Ride.

"It is also great to be able to use this ride and concert to raise awareness for a motorcycle based charity in Black Dog Ride that is gaining huge momentum, doing really positive things to tackle depression and suicide prevention."

Black Dog Ride will also be the beneficiary of the online auction of the fabulous Limited Edition Jack Daniel's 150th Anniversary Indian Chief Vintage motorcycle valued at $52,000!

Follow the Ride Back To Alice

Ian will be appearing and performing on Channel Nine's NRL Footy Show on Thursday June 2nd to launch his ride and promote the online auction of the Limited Edition Indian Chief Vintage via eBay. The NRL Footy Show will update the ride's progress once it hits Coober Pedy on Wednesday 8th June, and then wrap up the following week with footage from Ian's Alice Springs concert and presentation of the Limited Edition Indian Chief Vintage to the lucky winning bidder.

There will also be a live cross to the Nine Network's Today Show on the day of departure from Sydney, Sunday 5th June, and on Saturday June 11th from Alice Springs. Nine Network's Simon Bouda - a Black Dog Rider himself - is participating in the first and last legs of the ride.

Founder of Black Dog Ride Steve Andrews will also be joining Ian and the Ride Back To Alice. Stay tuned to Black Dog Ride's Facebook Page, the NRL Footy Show and Today Show for updates!
