Fundraising and Awareness Activities
Organising community fundraising and awareness activities is a rewarding way for schools, clubs, community groups and individuals to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention and support the vital work of Black Dog Ride.

The Community Activity Kit contains everything you need to know to get started including activity suggestions, guidelines and information about your responsibilities as a fundraiser, donor receipt forms plus the Activity Application Form.

The fundraising aim of Black Dog Ride's State Rides 2016 is to continue our funding of Lifeline's Online Crisis Support chat service and Mental Health First Aid's teen MHFA program in Australian Secondary Schools.
It is not compulsory to fundraise if you're participating in a Black Dog Ride, however most Black Dog Riders do so and enjoy it, appreciating the life saving value in the conversations around suicide prevention which begin by rider's fundraising efforts. To help you maximise your fundraising we've provided some start up fundraising tips below, which may be useful to you if this is your first time fundraising.
Click your state/territory link below and register your own fundraising platform for the state rides! It's quick, easy and you'll get a link you can share on social media, emails and forums.
Please note that net funds raised on each state/territory platform will be consolidated after the last state ride and be given to Lifeline Australia and MHFA Australia. However, we've developed the individual state platforms for riders because we know you're a competitive bunch of bikers and friendly interstate competition all helps the cause!

Remember to pick your state or territory of choice for funds to be allocated to their fundraising total. Although as mentioned above, all funds will ultimately be consolidated for a ride grand total.
All donations $2 and over are tax deductible and you will be emailed a receipt for taxation purposes as soon as the donation is processed.
